Garage Door Sales - East Bay

Set appointments SENT TO YOU electronically of customers who are going to buy a garage door, no cold calling.

  • 70%- 80% of customer leads handed to you will buy a garage door!
  • You do NOT need to come into the office everyday, leads sent to you electronically.
  • You and customers can see hundreds of our 5 star reviews online.
  • Almost all sales are one visit close.
  • We can be flexible on your schedule.

    Apprentice - Garage Door Technician

    Our apprenticeship program is designed for developing new employees that have no experience in the industry. It is a paid program that typically is completed between 6-10 weeks. Once completed you become a garage door technician.

    Benefits of Becoming a Technician After Completing Training:

  • Experienced technicians make $50,000 - $100,000 per year.
  • Fully paid healthcare benefits.
  • You do NOT come in to the office every day, train mostly out on the road and take truck home once a technician.
  • Once trained, you will get your own truck which you can take home at night as long as you have a safe place to park it overnight.
  • We provide your truck, uniforms, parts and customers; once you are trained.
  • You will learn how to install, repair and sell garage doors.

    • Requirements:

  • MUST be able to LIFT and carry 100 pounds comfortably.
  • All driving is in San Francisco Bay Area, no overnight stays.
  • Training for about 6 - 10 weeks.
  • Must be 100% dependable, very organized and good with people.
  • Must be 100% reliable to show up every day, on time and ready to work. Zero tolerance for undependable people.
  • Training pay at $13 - $18 an hour, depending upon background.
  • Willing to work 5 days a week,with one day on the weekend.
  • Speaking Spanish is a plus, but not a requirement.
  • Must have your own a reliable car, so while training you can meet technicians on the road.
  • Must have a valid Drivers License.
  • Willing to undergo a background and drug screening.
  • Good driving record of at least 5 years.

    Senior Technician

    Job Duties:

    • Responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing garage doors. Diagnose type of repair for the many different types of doors, openers, and hardware for all the products in the market
    • Responsible for installing new garage doors of the various types in the market
    • Responsible for selling garage doors to customers and explaining the various options, features and hardware of each
    • Interface with clients in person, on the phone and via email
    • Determine scope of maintenance/repair/renovation project required and prepare estimate with budget of materials included
    • Communicate with clients regarding estimates, changes to estimates and anticipated timeframe for completion of project
    • Ensure work is performed in compliance with safety requirements, building codes, and in-house standards of quality
    • Confer with managerial personnel to resolve problems or coordinate activities

    Minimum job requirements:

    • Valid driver’s license
    • Ability to lift over 50 pounds
    • 2 years' experience of mechanical door repair:
      • Installing garage doors
      • Installing garage door openers
      • Diagnosing and repairing garage door issues
      • Selling garage door repairs and openers

    Daily travel required for same day installations to the following Bay Area Counties: Alameda, Santa Clara, Contra Costa, San Mateo, San Francisco and Santa Cruz.

    Annual Salary: $64,397
