Your man arrived on schedule, and demonstrated excellent knowledge and ability in dealing with our garage door. Fixed the setup so the remote operation function worked. Replaced the rollers, which were 18 years old, and relocated the handle. In and out in 30 minutes flat. Excellent communications via email.

We were able to get an appointment for an estimate just a few hours after making our inquiry. Moran Criveano came out and gave a comprehensive summary of what would be needed and what the options were. Later that evening the estimate was ready. Maren was pleasant, knowledgeable and thorough, which made us lean toward Precision even before the second estimate arrived. Communication leading to the installation was very good. Installation was done quickly and cleanly once some minor modifications were performed. The installers were friendly, efficient and professional, and didn't leave behind a single speck of dust.

Not great. The garage door itself is fine & seems to be good quality. But the service I received was bad enough that I’d never hire them again. The consultation was fine. Then, the first installer showed up an hour after the scheduled window (no text / call from precision) and then told me it was measured wrong and they couldn’t do it. Second installer, also doesn’t show up during the scheduled window (despite receiving multiple appt confirmations). I then try to cancel our contract and get my deposit refunded. Then, 2 hours later, someone shows up and installs the door. Frustrating.

We felt pressured to make an immediate decision regarding a costly repair. When we expressed interest in obtaining additional quotes, we were informed that closing the garage door could cause further damage, effectively leaving us with the choice of either keeping the door open while seeking another provider or proceeding with the repair through this company. Although the technician completed the work efficiently, we were uncomfortable with the situation and the limited options presented, which made it feel as though we were compelled to move forward without the opportunity to explore alternatives.

I want to preface my review by saying Precision's dispatch and service technician were helpful, polite, knowledgeable and efficient. I appreciated the texts and ability to talk to a live person when something wasn't right. The reason for needing service was my garage door spring broke. After making an appointment with Precision, I had two men show up saying they were from Precision but I uncovered later that they actually were not. Somehow, these people intercepted my information and came to my home. When questioned they said they contracted through Precision but couldn't honor Precision's "labor is included in the cost of the parts" and kept telling me they'd call the main office. I did send them away after speaking to the dispatcher at Precision, but it was uncomfortable. I was eventually sent a text that Precision's tech was on his way with a picture of the technician, so that was helpful. For future, maybe their dispatchers could tell customers that Precision employees come in Precision trucks wity Precision uniform ahead of getting the texts. That would have helped my situation. When Paulino arrived he was knowledgeable and friendly. He very quickly told me I basically needed to replace every component related to my door, except the door and the opener. Pulley, cable, bearings, springs, rollers, etc. Now, mind you, I've never had my garage door maintained. I didn't know that was a thing. We use the garage as the main entrance and exit from the house. I'm not an expert on garage doors. I'm trusting vendors to be honest and to be helpful because they have the expertise. I would have appreciated him walking me through why he was recommending the replacement of all of the components so I was educated and had a clearer understanding. The job was $2200+. Yes, I got the top of the line parts. Yes, I got same day service. He did charge me for an extra part (an additional $50) that wasn't part of the price he originally quoted me. It would have been nice had he absorbed the cost of the extra part. Once done, he assured me my door and components will last another 10-15 years. They better!!! Again, the work was solid (although the door does squeak) and Paulino was very competent, friendly and helpful. No qualms with the quality of work. Clearer communication would have made me feel better about dropping that kind of money on a repair I originally thought would be a third the price. Follow-up: Rodney from their main office contacted me about the two people who showed up at my house, saying they were with Precision, but were not. He assured me they are looking into what happened. I appreciated that follow-up as that experience was disconcerting to say the least. He then followed up after reading this review to be sure he understood my concerns and helped educate me. He also changed my warranty to a lifetime warranty on all parts I purchased vs a 3 year warranty. Thanks Rodney!

He then prepared 3 estimates with different degrees of results. He explained all in great detail. I picked one and he got to work. I could not be more pleased with the work he did. Sheridan with Precision Garage Door was courteous and did a great job fixing my garage door issues. There is no complaint about his performance. However the invoice was not transparent and the job was very expensive. The installation labor was bundled with the material items and no one I spoke to with Precision Garage Door could break it down for me so I know what I am paying for what. The standard answer I got was “It is above my pay grade”.

Very happy with our new garage door. We had to get a new door installed after our very old door broke. Moran Criveano came out the next day and patiently answered all our questions and took her time to take careful measurements. We were happy with the price, which seemed reasonable. The install went smoothly, and Moran was super responsive throughout the entire process. We had to reach out numerous times for questions about painting (we got a factory white door that we want to paint), expectations on install day, etc. She always texted back within minutes.

The end panels of the garage door were sagging in the open position which prevented the garage door from closing. To correct the sagging, support bars were attached to each of the sagging panels. This was cheaper than replacing the entire garage door. I’m 80 years old and getting a new garage door that will last 20 years didn’t make sense cost wise. He had the parts with him to make the correction, so it was done quickly.

Precision Garage Door are life savers as usual. Caleb Winchester did an excellent job fixing multiple issues that I had. The spring broke (due to age and wear and tear), which what started me to call them and book an appointment. Caleb was able to straighten out one of the tracks which was misaligned. Changed some hinges, tightened up the belt on the garage opener, changed the cabling, and lubed all of the parts that needed it. The garage works like new. We always recommend Precision Garage Door to our friends and family. Thanks Caleb.

I had a great experience with Precision Garage Door and the service technician Caleb Winchester. The day before leaving on vacation our garage door started malfunctioning and would not close. I had to shut and locked it manually. When we returned home I called for service and was able to get an appointment the same day. Caleb arrived early and had our door working again in under an hour. My Wife and I couldn’t be happier with the service we received. Very polite, curtious and professional. They have earned our continued business when needed.
