i am happy that my issue was fixed but i think the technician was not straight foerward about what was actually wrong nor did he describe how it was fixed. i was under the impression that he thought i was stupid.

My appt was set for 11/18 from 2-10pm. I rec'd a call at 230pm that the tech would not make it as he ran into some issues & would re-schedule for 11/19 & offered to waive the $49.95 fee which I accepted as the door was still operational. Tech was supposed to be Kyle. The tech Kyle arrived on 11/19 & said that he did not know anything about the appt from 11/18 & did not have me on his schedule for 11/18?? Anyways Kyle did a good job & my chain was bent that may need to be replaced sometime in the future. Ok for now as other options were too pricey.

I wanted to increase security for the garage door. There have been recent break-ins through garage doors in my neighborhood. I ended up having an automatic deadbolt installed that will prevent entry by unlocking the manual garage door release from outside. Though an expensive solution. it does provide peace of mind. I don't know why it wasn't suggested when the original garage door was installed (by another company). In addition, all the rollers were worn and replaced for a much smoother operation (and I'm sure, will be less wear and tear on the motor) The work was done well except there was no attempt to patch the dry wall where the wall was cut out to install the deadbolt or patch the opposite wall where holes were drilled for possible install. Considering the cost of the job ($900), I don't think it's too much to expect restoring as much as reasonable the walls that were drilled or cut open to complete the job. The installer was very knowledgeable and also set the garage door to automatically close after 10 minutes (a feature I wasn't aware of), so all in all this was a good experience.

Although the technician was nice, and knowledgeable and performed the pass/fail test on the opener, which took all of 10 minutes, the issue was just a “flip of a switch”. That flip was $325.00. It would have been a great customer service move on their part, by telling Hubby what to do, and we would have happily paid the $49.95 as mentioned at the time of the appointment. BS. Be careful what you sign up for. The rates are redunk.

As promised, PDS rectified my complaint with the utmost in customer service. I applaud their efforts to make sure the customer (myself), was happy with the outcome. A refund was made, but not expected , which made my experience even better. A big thank you to Freddy for taking the time, following through, and making a happy customer out of me.

Chose this company because it had good reviews. Here are my issues. I called over the weekend and got a quote over the phone to replace a broken garage door motor, $500.00 plus $50 service fee that I get a partial credit for if I choose to do the work. Ok so I make the appt. Tech was on time. Told me $500.00 is the motor only, there is a different price if I want the rails and electric eyes? $639.00 plus tax. I don't know about you but don't gargage door opens come with all of that in the box? Ok, I need this thing replaced so I agree. Work is done, gives me the invoice, $699.00 plus tax, charged me exra for the rail, remote, and no credit for $50.00 service call. So what was originally $500.00 plus tax and partial service call ended up being $847.00 Honetly this is probably in the ballpark of what most companies charge. Another guy called me back after I agreed to this company and it was $650.00 all included. My real issue is the different prices I kept getting. Given a choice I would not use this company again.

Service is good and representatives are professional. Prices were high and initial quote was reasonable, but then once arriving the overpricing began. Each piece that was quoted was grossly marked up… but was kind of stuck as the tech had already started. The good part is that they did come on a Sunday at the time the committed to on Sunday evening.
