Feeling ripped off. I got a new garage door installed by Precision Garage Door on 11/25/2020. The new door install was great and I was very satisfied. Yesterday on 10/20/2023, my garage door would not close. A technician came out and said that I needed a ton of new parts. The garage door was fixed in about an hour which was great but the repair costed more than the brand new door!! Brand new door and all parts were $1808 on 11/25/20 and the repair on 10/20/23 came to $1872. Spoke to two buddies who do this work in different states and said that I totally got ripped off and that is how I feel.

Hi Sam R., I was reviewing our online experiences over the weekend and came across yours. We are very sorry for your terrible experience and want to make it right for you. Including a courtesy rebate and understanding what happened. I've tried calling a few times....Is there a good phone number we can reach you to have a brief talk? If easier, you can call us at 510-785-9195 and ask for Freddy. Should take just a few minutes to try to make things right. We want you to be happy and want to make things right for you. Thank you for your consideration.

$100 to pull out a nail that was preventing the garage door from opening. Tech was nice and gave useful advice, but didn't tell me how much it was going to cost before doing the work. Otherwise I would not have agreed. I can't afford $100 to pull out a nail.

After setting up to have our garage door opener replaced, was originally told estimate would be about $1100. Other company quoted us $996. We went with your firm because you were quicker to set appointment. After all was said and done, we had to pay more than just the motor, for springs, & bearings. Total bill ended up $1,729.51. That much and we only got 1 remote control, and had to pay additional for a keypad! Just felt a little nickel and dimed. System is supposed to work with our smart phones, but we have not been able to connect the system to our smart phones. Would have been nice to have that done before tech left. Have tried several times and have been going online to try to troubleshoot. Ordering additional remotes online now too. Tech was willing to sell us additional remotes that were twice as much.

Freddy diligently followed up with me on this job. Their immediate response to our concerns were addressed completely. Freddy went out of his way and adjusted our invoice to cover the cost of the keypad and additional remote control for the garage. We appreciated the efforts Freddy took make sure that we were satisfied with Precision Garage. I would like to revise my rating for Precision Garage to a 5 star rating. Appreciate the professional and immediate response. We will not hesitate to recommend Precision Garage to others and continue to use them for all our maintenance and repair needs. Thank you!

Fast, good, expensive. A quick google search shows that the repair these guys performs typically goes for about $300. They charged me over 1000! I will not be recommending them to my friends and neighbors, but will update yelp accordingly instead.

New garage door Liftmaster work good. I no like that they don't give me nothing for my old garage door motor when they put in new one. Nothing?
- Yoshi Lee
Yoshi, Sorry that you feel that way. Unfortunately, old motors do not have any value. We have to pay to have them disposed of and take them away as a convenience for our customers. I am glad your new motor is working well.

Thought woman said would be $175 for both springs, not just one. I disappointed when technician said it would be $350 for both springs put in. I think it honest mistake, because she hard time understanding me, but me not happy.

Mr Abad was late for our San Francisco appointment due to traffic he said and phoned. When he arrived he immediately said our spring was new (it wasn't, was over 50 yrs) and noted all our bearings/hinges were loose and needed repairs (over $2200), He wrote up but did not give us a written estimate nor were we able to ketone later by phoning. He did fix the flickering connection between the left light and our motor which was one of the reasons we called your firm. When we asked him to program the two portable key pads we had bought for the motor he said that would be $99 for extra labor! We chose not to pay that. At that point we were done and paid our bill. I was not satisfied with the high priced sales approach. Later I got your email offering a new garage door for over $4000. We have an alternate price from Automotive Garage Door for 1900 if we want to do it and we will have him program the key pads and check the bearings.
