He took the time to show me exactly which parts were worn or cracked and gave a detailed explanation of how each component works. It was helpful and reassuring to understand what needed to be fixed and why. Philip replaced all the moving parts, including the motor. He completed the work quickly but thoroughly, and he left the area spotless when he was done. It's not often you find that level of care and attention to detail. My garage door and opener were installed less than two years, recently the garage door lost its balance; it could open but not close! Called Precision, they sent a technician to check, had found the rollers of both side tracks were loosing , the tech said the rollers were worn out, better to replace the new rollers, the new one has bearings. I asked the price, he took the whole bag of the roller and showed it to me and said $44.95/ea. installation for no extra cost. I agreed, he exchanged them. When I paid the bill, it cost $449.95. In total. I was shocked, he said ten of them. He lubricated the rollers and the tract. However, I have found the door does not closing smoothly today! It has cracked sound when door is closing. The new tracks are made of aluminum, kind of soft for the garage door, compared to my old tracks are made of metal. I am not happy about it.

Travis was great! It took him no time to identify all of the issues contributing to our automatic door failures, with a very thorough inspection. He gave us a number of options for fixing, and clearly did a high-quality job in every system he touched. Our garage door wasn't this quiet when it was first installed! I highly recommend Travis's work!

The scheduling and the work was very professionally done. I called in the morning and the work was completed that afternoon. The technician doing the work was very experienced and efficient. My issue is with the pricing and what felt like a bit of a "bait and switch". One of my torsion springs broke. I was told on the phone that it was likely that both would need to be replaced and I was told what this would cost. I was not told until the technician arrived at my home was that they also "always" replace the center bearing. This cost $139, it was no extra work to replace this when the springs are also replaced and the cost of the identical part on line is $14. I was also told by the technician that needed to do a "Lube and Tune" of all moving parts. This consisted of tightening the hinge nuts and spraying the hinges and rollers with lubricant from an anisole can. This took about 5 minutes and cost another $100. I was also told that I should also replace the rollers, which would have added at least another $500. I declined the rollers, which I will buy and replace on my own. My garage door is very heavy and cannot be opened by one person when the torsion spring breakes. So, I went ahead and agreed to have the work done. The company should be upfront on the costs when you make the appointment. Instead they add on these costs, when they arrive at your home and give you a true estimate.

The first Technician that Precision Garage Door sent out to my house, to measure and show me my options for a new garage door was very polite and courteous and answered all of my questions. He explained all of my options to pick and choose what I wanted in a new garage door. About 3 weeks later, my new garage door arrived from Florida and Precision Garage Door Service called me to schedule a date to have it installed. Yes, the doors were made in the USA. No tariff’s to worry about. The second Technician removed the old 2 car garage door and installed the new garage door in 1hr and 40min’s. A one man operation, I was impressed. When he finished, he removed all the left over debri on the garage floor and took away all of the cardboard boxes and old panels from the old garage door. When he was finished, he tutored me on everything I needed to know about the operation of the new garage door. The new garage door is beautiful and sealed from the outside elements. It is amazingly quiet when I open and close the door. I’am a very satisfied customer and will let my friends and neighbors know about the quality service and quality of the product that Precision Garage Door installed for me. I would recommend Precision Garage Door Service to anyone who needs to replace their old worn out Garage Door. They are good professional people. They also come when they say they will be at your home and do a great job of installing the Garage Door. I’am totally satisfied with the whole experience. A Totally Satisfied Customer !!
