He was able to detect the problem very rapidly, and corrected the problem. I was pleased for all the advice he gave me, and he was very patient when I asked him questions. Garage door did not fit the opening. The height measured was off about an inch on top, leaving a gap on the top, and the width of the door was short of the opening, leaving a gap on one side. The measurements were off, or there door was not made according to the measurements. Installer had many issues, but not his problem.

After setting up to have our garage door opener replaced, was originally told estimate would be about $1100. Other company quoted us $996. We went with your firm because you were quicker to set appointment. After all was said and done, we had to pay more than just the motor, for springs, & bearings. Total bill ended up $1,729.51. That much and we only got 1 remote control, and had to pay additional for a keypad! Just felt a little nickel and dimed. System is supposed to work with our smart phones, but we have not been able to connect the system to our smart phones. Would have been nice to have that done before tech left. Have tried several times and have been going online to try to troubleshoot. Ordering additional remotes online now too. Tech was willing to sell us additional remotes that were twice as much.

3/26/21: This was my 2nd time using Precision Garage Door Service. My 1st time was in Sept. 2020 when my garage door hinges needed replacement and my 2nd time was to replace my garage door opener. He asked me to explain the problem then he assessed what was needed. He thoroughly explained what was needed to have a functional garage door. Having service available on a Saturday afternoon was a great. Our spring was broken and we could not lift the door automatically or manually. We needed our car early Sunday morning. You have a great website and let us know that you could help. Having a live person to speak with on our initial call was outstanding. We set up an appointment. Paul Brinkman came as scheduled about 4pm and explained to us what was needed and made some recommendations. He made the repair and showed us how to properly maintain the door. I called with a broken spring at 2pm. Your man arrived at 5:30 and was done at 6:30. He was very saavy and did a terriffic job. I will be ordering two new, high security openers soon. The parts were very high priced!

Had to wait several weeks while our custom glass panel door was built to precise specs BUT it was well worth it since price was very good price, fits perfectly and is extraordinarily quiet. Best door ever and lots of compliments from neighbors. The tech spent nearly six hours on this job installation and did a perfect job. Top notch workmanship and a great looking door at a very fair price!!

Had the gentleman out here to see about adjusting the garage door for a gap on the left bottom of the door. He did not give reasonable options to fix other than replacing the Concrete floors to make more level. I had Clarks pest control out earlier today and they installed new weatherstripping to my garage door and it still did not fix the issue so your garage door tech recommended that I call Clarks pest control back out to see if they could put a sticker weatherstrip on it. As a garage door repair service call we feel as though he should have offered to put a thicker weatherstrip there versus me calling my pest control company to do so. His main option for us was to rip out the concrete. After long conversations he offered to replace all rollers, etc since it’s an older door. But did still say it would not fix it since it’s an issue with the floor. Overall a waste of $50 and would never recommend the service.

My garage door spring center support ripped itself off the wall - probably originally installed with too-short screws. I called, described my situation, and asked if someone could fix it and re-tension the springs. Their technician arrived on time, took a look at the garage, and told me that he will not tighten old springs. So I paid a $50 service fee for that. The springs are indeed old but in good condition. If you don't tighten old springs just say so on the phone.
