We had a great experience from start to finish with Precision. I called late on a Friday for a non-urgent issue, but they got someone out on Saturday anyway. We were expecting a big job, probably replacing the motor, etc., but Brandon came out and gave us a very honest assessment where we didn't need to replace the motor at all--so it ended up being just a $500 job. Less than two hours later we had a smoothly-running system. I would definitely recommend them.

Fast, good, expensive. A quick google search shows that the repair these guys performs typically goes for about $300. They charged me over 1000! I will not be recommending them to my friends and neighbors, but will update yelp accordingly instead.

I had a positive experience in contacting your company by phone based on your Yelp reviews, in interacting with your technician who came out the same day, Brandon, and with a speedy repair. Brandon also kindly answered my 19 year old son's questions about how the door worked. He's studying mechanical engineering and found the whole process enlightening. This was kind of Brandon to share his knowledge after a long day. He repaired the broken spring to enable the door to work again. We are contemplating buying a new garage door and he provided a pamphlet of options.

My wife and I heard a bang in the garage and went out to see that our garage door springs had both broken. Within 40 minutes of calling Precision Garage Door service, Brandon showed up, assessed the problem, gave me a quote, and fixed it perfectly. He put the proper size heavier-duty American-made parts and springs in my door at no extra charge, lubed up everything, fine-tuned and tested the door. And it only took him 25-30 minutes. The door works perfectly now and is much quieter than before. I'm very happy. Arranged service call via web site's chat now feature. Technician (Brandon) arrived that morning. Provided an assessment of the condition of the garage door system and the alternatives. Also discussed and ball parked upgrade possibilities that we had been considering. Completed install in 4.5 hours - yes we needed a lot of work on a 40 year old door. I found Precision Doors to be professional at all levels. Brandon from Precision Doors made the repairs. Not only did he replace the broken spring, Brandon pointed out and replaced failing bearings. Great and quick service! We were ready to throw in the towel and finally buy a new garage door as ours had pretty much stopped working and made loud banging noises when it would open/close. We called on a Saturday and had a sales associate our on Monday. Our associate spent time with my husband going over our options, but ultimately told us the door itself was just fine; it was the motor that was shot. It's now Thursday and we just had a new motor installed (1/3 to 1/5 the price of a new door) and we couldn't be happier! The motor is so quiet and works so well; we are in the 21st century! We got a keypad, remote sensors, timers, the whole shebang for less than $1K. Couldn't be happier and will definitely recommend Precision Door!

Same day schedule available. I was given the window of 4hrs waiting and the technician called within an hour and showed up in timely manner. The spring was repaired within an hour. Very efficient. I saw your ad in SFChronicle Newspaper and it impressed me so I called and made an appointment. Garage door was very noisy. Brandon the technician, arrived a day sfter I called.
