After our very old overhead garage opener failed I called Precision. Technician James Walker was at our house the same day within the window of time that we agreed upon. Within 1 1/2 hours the motor was replaced and at a price that was below what I had expected. I am very pleased and recommend this company.

Although the technician was nice, and knowledgeable and performed the pass/fail test on the opener, which took all of 10 minutes, the issue was just a “flip of a switch”. That flip was $325.00. It would have been a great customer service move on their part, by telling Hubby what to do, and we would have happily paid the $49.95 as mentioned at the time of the appointment. BS. Be careful what you sign up for. The rates are redunk.

Phillip Nguyen was professional in how he analyzed the problem and presented me with a solution. His skills and knowledge of how to install a long term correction was just what my home needed. Service was good, but cost of rollers at $30 each was way too high, even when accounting for labor. A 10-pack of rollers cost about $30, and I was charged over $400 for a ~45 min service call. Way too much.

After making an appointment, within minutes I received a call from Technician Jonathan Castro. He provided and ETA and arrived on time. After surveying the problem (Broken Springs), a full assessment was done of my garage door. 33 years and it appears that I change springs every 5-7 years. After speaking with Jonathan, I learned why. Jonathan estimated 1 hour to do the job, and he was done much sooner to my surprise. I checked for balance, and operation. Jonathan tightened all bolts/nuts as well. Job well done!!
