They came out the day after calling for an appointment and installed a new garage door opener with all the upgrades to replace our ancient 35 year old garage door opener. The two man crew (Brandon & assistant) were very efficient, knowledgeable, friendly and tidy. We are very happy to have a new garage door opener with a secure auto bolt lock, bright motion activated LED lights and three ways to open (3 remotes, outside keypad and monitoring phone app ability). Plus new springs, cables, torsion bar and precision rollers.

Brandon did a fantastic job repairing my garage door that had become tilted due to the cables becoming unwound. it's been 4+ years since the door was installed by PDS. He also replaced the rollers with better ball bearing ones, replaced a broken gasket, and lubricated the door. I can tell he has years of experience and my door is now happy and quiet and smooth.

It's quite possible I overpaid for parts here, $300 for a pair of cables, $600 for two pair of cables, seems quite high, but from very beginning to very end, Precision was very professional, prompt, and clear on their mission to get the job done. Brandon met me on time, offered a clear explanation of what my failure entailed and a couple of good solutions for repair. I chose the one that fit my budget and timeline and he executed the repair in half the time I thought he might. We're extremely pleased with the service from Precision Garage Door Service. We have a 25 year old Martin door and finally the spring broke in two. Brandon and Ishmael were the service techs that came on site. They assessed all of the hardware / components on the door and provided us with estimate to bring the door back to working condition. They replaced the single spring with two springs to help balance the load and compensate for the insulated door weight. They replaced all of the rollers since the original ones were showing wear and cracks. Lastly, they replaced the cables and the assembly since they were starting show a lot of wear and not functioning smoothly. They kept us informed of the work they were doing along the way and showed us the original parts that were being replaced and why they should or need to be replaced. Their customer service was beyond our expectation. They completed the job in one hour and had all the necessary tools and parts on-hand. With all of the new hardware, the door is several times quieter with the new rollers and travels up/down smoother than before. It's like having a brand new garage door. We would highly recommend Precision for any garage door service.

I’m very satisfied with my new garage door that Gabriel installed. The door is a vast improvement, more quiet, durable, looks attractive and more energy efficient / high tech. Gabriel explained things thoroughly and arrived promptly and worked efficiently. My only issue was the lag time (to wait to get door installed) but I realize this is out of the control of precision. Other than that it was a seamless transaction from start to finish. I would strongly recommend going with precision for anyone considering replacing their garage door.

I wanted to increase security for the garage door. There have been recent break-ins through garage doors in my neighborhood. I ended up having an automatic deadbolt installed that will prevent entry by unlocking the manual garage door release from outside. Though an expensive solution. it does provide peace of mind. I don't know why it wasn't suggested when the original garage door was installed (by another company). In addition, all the rollers were worn and replaced for a much smoother operation (and I'm sure, will be less wear and tear on the motor) The work was done well except there was no attempt to patch the dry wall where the wall was cut out to install the deadbolt or patch the opposite wall where holes were drilled for possible install. Considering the cost of the job ($900), I don't think it's too much to expect restoring as much as reasonable the walls that were drilled or cut open to complete the job. The installer was very knowledgeable and also set the garage door to automatically close after 10 minutes (a feature I wasn't aware of), so all in all this was a good experience.
