Rodney is the best! Our garage door got jammed and within 30 min of calling Precision he was as at the house pricing out estimates. He was professional, pleasant and helped us weight the options. In the past, service was consistent. This last visit wasn’t the same case. I’ve been using and recommending them from the first amazing service I received. I scheduled an appointment for garage door maintenance. This went fine. They gave me a “veteran”. Here’s where things deviated. 1. The technician I received might have been not been too enthusiastic about his work because of how many years he’s been at the company and it showed. As courtesy, I always received an advance call of 1-2 hours before the technician arrived. This time, I got 1-5mins advance call. 2. The technicians in past ALWAYS provided some emailed evaluation of the condition of my garage door. This time, this was not provided, just a “I didn’t find anything wrong”. 3. The technician told me his credit card payment device is broken so he had to manually take down my credit card number for final payment. This scared me because you never know where your credit card details are leaked, shared or fraud is committed with this information. 4. Technician did not explain he was training a new guy from the beginning when we met. Throughout the whole appointment, he made the new guy do all the work while he causally walked around my house inspecting things he wasn’t supposed to be looking at. I didn’t feel like he inspected my garage door as thoroughly as past technicians sadly. Overall, I didn’t feel like I got the quality service I used to with the past technicians and the same level of enthusiasm about wanting to do good work for the customer. I will need to think twice before I use them again and stop recommending them.

I had watched your ads on TV and thought I could get my garage door fixed, so I called you. I was told after the agent looked at my door, they no longer make the parts I needed, so I needed to buy a new door, which was not in my budget. Not what I expected!!!

Five stars to Nathaniel! I am totally satisfied with his work. My garage door was stuck in a partially closed position. The garage door wouldn’t budge even after de-coupling from the automated garage door opener. Nathaniel diagnosed the problem: Parts that facilitate the garage door’s movement failed and locked up. Considering the repair work that already needed to be done, we discussed and included replacement of the original rollers (which had old and noisy steel wheels). Nathaniel was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He talked through the steps that he was taking; showed me the failed ball bearings of several of the old parts that were being replaced; tested opening and closing the garage door manually several times and fine tuned the installation; and gave me pointers on my automated garage door opener. Nathaniel's professionalism was highlighted by his focus on doing a top quality job. The end result? A garage door that opens and closes smoothly. Additionally, the loud rattling sounds that the garage door used to make when opening and closing have been reduced to a low rumble. As I mentioned before, I am totally satisfied with the work done. I called Precision to repair my existing garage door opener. I was unable to open or close and lock the door using the existing opener. Daphne from the service department gave me excellent help as I was looking for cost effective solutions to repair or replace. She scheduled someone to come out within 1 hour. Bachir was my service rep. And he was awesome! He worked with me to test the door, asking questions, to determine solutions. He proposed a plan to replace the existing motor with a cost effective solution and within 2 hours I was back in business with a working door. Quick response once called. First tech could not establish nature of the problem but quickly had more senior employee come on the same day. He spent time trying to work with our old system to see what could be done but established that new components were needed. Came the next day and completed the major revisions needed. Less than 36 hours from notification to new system installed.

If you have a garage door problem I would highly recommend calling Precision Garage Door. Last Saturday one of the springs on our 40 year old 350 pound double garage door broke. Since it was Saturday morning and the weather was terrible (mistaken tornado warning day) we assumed we would be out of luck for several days. We called Precision Garage Door and got a person (not a recorded message!) and a service call was scheduled with a one-hour ETA. Sheridan Abad arrived promptly and did a detailed inspection of the door. In addition to the broken spring, he identified a fraying cable and several hinges with hairline cracks. Due to the age of the door, I decided to replace many of the integral parts to avoid future problems. Sheridan worked diligently and explained what he was doing. I appreciate his patience in letting me watch and ask questions. It was a lousy wet day and Sheridan never complained and finished the overhaul of our door in a couple of hours. Great company and great work by Sheridan.

I called to schedule work on my garage door and Mario arrived about an hour later and completed the work the same day. I explained to Mario that I needed a new opener and a physical lock that would prevent the door from opening if someone drilled through the door and pulled the release cord when trying to break in. Mario inspected the door and recommended replacement of the spring with double springs and replacement of the roller mechanism, both to make opening of the door easier with less strain on the new opener. I agreed. I couldn’t be happier with the quality of the work. The door used to rumble up and down and slam into the pavement to close. Now it quietly glides and gently sets down. It automatically triggers the physical lock upon closer and automatically removes the lock before opening. Very nice, great work.

Sheridan arrived within one hour of my calling for help. There were a number of parts that needed to be replaced because my door was installed many years ago. He did a super job and did it quickly. The door operates perfectly now and is much quieter now when it opens and closes.

We are very happy with the service. It turned out we did not need new garage doors since our original cedar doors are in exceptionally good condition, especially for their age. We needed a new garage door opener and replacement parts for 2 garage doors since ours were both failing after years of use. We still need to set up our doors to open and close remotely. Al and Brandon were extremely knowledgeable. Brandon did a commendable job for the work on 2 garage doors.
